Kinja'd!!!

1) Some guy smacked my car as I drove past him on Saturday night. Why was he walking in the street when there was a perfectly good, clear sidewalk that EVERYONE ELSE was using? Fuck him. I can’t drive on the sidewalk so you shouldn’t walk in the street. I should have run him over.

2) I had a coupon for a gallon of milk for $0.99 that expired today. It was for a reopened convenience store at a gas station. They didn’t have any gallons left. I asked if I could have a rain check. No. I asked if they could extend the date. No. I asked if I could have two half gallons for that price, and the answer was... No. Fuck that. I was planning on picking up a few other items, but to hell with that.

3) Why must these assholes slow down whilst crossing in a crosswalk? He was walking faster until he got into the crosswalk but then took the speed waaaay down. I could have cut him off and continued on my way but I decided to be nice and let him go first. Just fucking go instead of slowing down to a crawl as I wait for you.

4) Some dumbfuck didn’t want to wait for the light so he made a right turn and immediately crossed a double yellow line, in front of oncoming traffic,  to get into the right turn lane on the other side of the street so he could continue without having to wait at the light like the rest of us. I wish he would have gotten hit, but I wouldn’t want someone else to be involved in an accident because of this impatient moron. Why can’t there be a cop when you need one? Usually they’re there at that intersection, sort of; K9 units often let their dogs run in the field by that intersection, but today there wasn’t one there. Damn.

I was behind a cop today, light turned green and I let off the brake, but I had already put my window down and was reaching to get an ice chunk off my windshield, and since I was rolling I’d figured I’d take my time and the person behind me honked at me, which I instinctively kept crawling forward, then they turned right.

Assholes everywhere.

3) I was just listening to a comedian opining that you should be allowed to hit one person per year for exactly this reason. Then, as they are rolling across your hood, they come to the realization that you used your one credit on  them and think “wow, maybe I’m a dick.”

Like carbon offsets, can we buy and trade these hits? Do they roll over to the next year, or like FSA accounts, do we have to use the balance by the end of the year? I can imagine the hospitals getting awfully busy in the last few weeks of December...

I think they should roll over, because sometimes even really nice people have really bad days. Or maybe you need to save  up to go to that Cars and Coffee with your Mustang.

There probably needs to be an exclusion clause for Mustang drivers unless they’re driving a Fox body with a four cylinder and an automatic or just about any Mustang II . I don’t want to discriminate, but I think it may be warranted in their case based on the videos I’ve seen, with bodies flying like bowling pins. Those guys make Group B rallying seem like a model of safety by comparison.

Hahaha. My problem would be holding off to pick the “most worthy” idiot. I’d probably use my credit before February  ever year...

I thought from what I’ve read that a Mustang II can’t build up enough momentum to hurt anybody anyway.

But if you don’t, you may wonder about the one that got away.

It’s a gamble, to be sure.

For some inexplicable reason my dad bought one, trading in his MGC GT. That Mustang almost became my first car, but they got the dealer to take it as a trade and as a result I wound up with a mom’s  Dasher wagon. Dodged a bullet there...
